The climate and soil of Clouds support the harvesting of grapes for wine-making on this working wine farm. Leading viticultural manager, Wynand Pienaar, takes care of Clouds' grapes and plants pinot noir, cabernet, merlot, petite verdot and chardonnay grapes as well as the estate's renowned sauvignon blanc.

Awarding-winning wine maker, Donovan Rall has worked across Europe, Moselle and New Zealand, and is the resident winemaker at Clouds, working closely with owner Paul. Rall's vision is to infuse all of Clouds' wines with flavours of Clouds' own harvest.

Clouds is famous for its "Pink" Sauvignon Blanc. Its fruity aromas include kwiwifruit and gooseberry flavours. The light yellow Sauvignon Blanc, with hints of lime, is also a favourite.

The Clouds Chardonnay has citrus and eucalyptus tones, while their Pinot Noir has hints of sour cherries and earthy undertones. The estate's Sauvignon Blanc Methode Cap Classique features apple and citrus flavours that bubble to the surface.

Awarding-winning wine maker, Donovan Rall has worked across Europe, Moselle and New Zealand, and is the resident winemaker at Clouds, working closely with owner Paul.  Rall has annually been increasing the Clouds wines with flavours of Clouds' own harvest.

 

Clouds is famous for its "Pink" Sauvignon Blanc. Its fruity aromas include kiwifruit and gooseberry flavours. The light yellow Sauvignon Blanc, with hints of granadilla, is a real crowd pleaser and the new Bordeaux style Red Blend, is equally enjoyable now but will mature beautifully over the next 5 years.
